The setup

Neil spends the evening cheering up Kira after her boyfriend dumps her, which is exactly what a decent friend should do. Kira is his girlfriend Trish's best friend, and the consolation turns dangerously warm: compliments, long looks and a request to be walked to her door. Then Trish calls, and Neil has to decide whether to pick up. Episode 1 ends on that dilemma and a promise to keep things between the two of them. In episode 2 Kira takes him upstairs, where there is a camera and a list of house rules, and she makes it clear who is directing. Neil's job, evidently, is to follow instructions.

Why it earns its number

Kira's power dynamic is the whole point: the camera in the corner, the rule list, a polite man who agrees to everything. It's a short, tense burn in the Nympho and Quick finish sets, with the guilt about Trish never quite leaving the room.
