A collector's review
This Candy Shorts review comes from someone who has clicked through the whole catalog, all 197 series of it. Vertical, AI-generated, about a minute an episode, and built to make you want the next one. Below: what you get, what works, what doesn't, how the billing behaves, and whether a collector should pay. Short version: a very good free sampler and a pricey habit.
Candy Shorts is a catalog of vertical mini-series that live inside Candy AI, a product from a Maltese company called EverAI Limited. Every episode is AI-generated live action, framed for a phone held upright, and runs about a minute. Most series stop at five episodes, while a few stretch much longer.
The catalog currently counts 197 titles, of which 17 are locked Spicy series and 180 start free. The open ones are the front door. The first episode of each needs no login, the second needs only a free account, and between them they supply 361 free episodes, about 407 minutes of watching before a single token changes hands.
It all runs in the browser. We looked for a Candy Shorts app in the app stores and found none, so don't waste an evening searching. The cast is AI, every character is an adult, and the dialogue is in English, with subtitles in French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese on nearly every open series.
The pacing won me over first. A minute is nothing, so each episode has to set a scene, tilt it and leave you hanging, and the writers clearly know it. You can watch three in the time it takes a kettle to boil, then feel mildly guilty about the fourth.
The free start is generous for this corner of the internet. Episode 1 asks for nothing and episode 2 asks for a free account, which means you can sample a great many series before deciding whether any of them deserves your money.
Variety helps too. Stepfamily setups, cheating wives, fantasy worlds, a teacher or two and six licensed AI twins of well-known performers all share one shelf. Series are short enough to finish in a sitting, so collecting them feels more like ticking off a list than committing to a show.
The same brevity that makes it snackable is the main complaint. A minute of video can't hold much plot, so plenty of episodes play like a trailer for the next one, and a few series end just as they hit their stride.
Tokens add up quickly. From episode 3 a free account hits an upgrade window, and paid episodes want a Premium membership plus tokens: twelve per episode in most series, thirty in the ones starring licensed pornstar twins. Clearing the open shelf costs 8,574 tokens, and adding the Spicy series brings the bill to 11,164.
The explicit material also lives behind the paywall. Free episodes of open series stay suggestive, built from setup, tension and cutaways, and the Spicy series demand Premium from their very first episode. If you expect the free tier to deliver everything, it won't.
No. 083A groom's last suit fitting before the wedding turns into a private appointment with a tailor who has other measurements in mind.
No. 050Touch the queen and you die. So she posts the unwanted new guard outside her bedroom and starts daring him to find the loophole.
No. 098Your wife's college bestie moves in for a week, and you recognize her instantly. She noticed, and she's in no hurry to leave.
No. 102He crashes her wedding and finds her in the bridal suite. The dress is the least of the problems, and the groom stays benched.
No. 158A bad prawn sends her mum to bed, and her stepdad is told to keep her entertained. Suncream is only the start.
No. 051A temp's first day at a London office: one charming boss, one fiercely territorial PA and a T-shirt fitting that runs long.
No. 165Her boyfriend is sweet, her boyfriend's roommate is insufferable, and Sadie can't stop trading barbs with him. Thin walls make everything worse.
No. 106The best man's job is to keep his eyes off his best friend's bride. She has rewritten the job description, and the groom naps.
Premium comes in three shapes, with prices from our last check. The annual plan averages $3.99 a month but bills $47.88 once a year. The quarterly plan is priced at $8.99 a month. Pay monthly and the intro month is $9.99, with renewals at $13.99.
Included with any plan: 100 tokens each month, unlimited chat messages, adults-only images and video, live action, and a build-your-own AI girlfriend tool. Plans renew automatically. According to Candy, cancellation is possible whenever you like from the settings page, so put a reminder in your calendar instead of trusting your memory.
The charge appears as EverAI on a statement, not Candy, which is worth knowing before you panic over a line item you don't recognize. Token packs are sold to subscribers, and we could not check whether leftover tokens carry over. For scale: on the monthly tokens alone, the whole collection would take about 112 months.
If you like finishing things, this is a good catalog to chase. It's numbered, bounded and mostly short. Start free, mark what you finish, and spend only when a series hooks you. Nobody is standing behind you with a stopwatch, and nothing forces you to chase every number on the shelf.
If you want everything unlocked for nothing, skip it. The entire collection runs about 1,249 minutes, which sounds small until you meet the 11,164 tokens that unlock it.
Our honest take: worth your time as a free sampler, worth Premium for the handful of series you would actually rewatch, and not worth buying in bulk on impulse. That last part is why we built a checklist, so you can see what you own, what is left and what it will cost before you open your wallet.
As far as we can tell, yes. It's a real product from a real company. Behind Candy AI sits EverAI Limited of Malta, and Premium is an ordinary subscription. We can't audit how any company behaves behind the curtain, but nothing in our checks looked like a trap.
It runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Treat it like any adult service: use a strong password, watch your billing, and skip reuploaded episodes and so-called download pages. We never host or link those. The ticks on our checklist never leave your own browser.
The free part is, easily. Premium depends on how many series you will actually finish. Paid episodes in the pornstar series cost thirty tokens each, so a few well-chosen series beat a spree. Count first with the totals on each set, then decide.
The charge reads EverAI, the company behind Candy AI, rather than Candy or Candy Shorts. If you share a card or an account with someone, that is the line to expect, so you aren't surprised when the statement arrives.
Candy states that cancelling is possible at any moment through your account settings. Plans renew on their own, so cancel before the renewal date if you want out. We could not check what happens to leftover tokens, so spend them first if that matters to you.
Catalog counted on Candy on November 2, 2026. Premium prices checked October 30, 2026.
