The setup

Harriet starts a temp job at a London office and is convinced she doesn't belong among all the polished, effortlessly pretty colleagues. The boss thinks otherwise. Episode 1 introduces his personal assistant, a blonde who runs his diary, his dinners and his moods, and who is plainly hoping for an invitation to a client dinner. Then Harriet walks in, and he sets the onboarding schedule aside to show her around himself. In episode 2 the PA is left outside while colleagues speculate, and Harriet is handed a company T-shirt and a door to change behind. Within hours she has sworn at her new boss, and he seems to find it charming.
