Mona's Obsession

The setup

Mona and her stepbrother can't share a house without a skirmish, and she keeps finding reasons to be in his room. She barges in, quizzes him about what was on his screen, fishes for a compliment and enjoys the squirming. He has a girlfriend, Kaylee, which only gives Mona more material: she threatens to tell Kaylee about an imaginary affair, then takes a stumble that has him rushing to her side. Episode 2 moves the war to the bathroom. Her own bathroom has gone cold, so she showers in his, borrows his T-shirt and is still there when Kaylee arrives.

Why it earns its number

Mona is a face you'll meet again elsewhere in the collection, and here she gets to be the lead: relentless, funny and impossible to shake. The bickering plays as half dare and half confession, which is why the Stepsister, Taboo and Recurring characters sets all want it.

Who should collect it: For collectors who like their tension bickering, with a heroine who treats personal space as a suggestion.
