My Roommate's Girlfriend

The setup

Nate shares an apartment with Ben, whose girlfriend Sadie stays every weekend, and the walls are thin enough that Nate knows how those nights go. She says he's the worst: rude, cocky and always in a towel. He says Ben is a nice guy and a bore, and that she knows it. Episode 1 is the morning-after sparring, Ben asking whether Sadie can stay all weekend, and Nate's open invitation for whenever Ben gets dull. Episode 2 jumps to the middle of the night, with Sadie wandering into the kitchen at two in the morning, dressed for anything but water, Ben asleep, and a standoff where each dares the other to say it out loud.

Why it earns its number

It's all friction: two people who claim they can't stand each other, a nice guy asleep in the next room and dialogue that does most of the work. The Cuckold set doesn't get many setups this talky, and the banter is why this one deserves a slot.

Who should collect it: For anyone who likes enemies-to-something banter, a smug roommate and a girlfriend who is not as annoyed as she claims.
