Family Reunion: My New Step-Cousin

The setup

Leah's boyfriend has eyes only for a colt, and the family reunion at the ranch hands her plenty of free time and a brand-new step-cousin, Jake. He's the quiet one everyone has mentioned, and he's easily found in the wrong room at the right time. Episode 1: they trade jokes about how little they're related, her boyfriend is called away to admire the horse, and relatives insist the pair will get along. They do. Episode 2: she turns up late, says her boyfriend couldn't find his own head, and points out that he's close by, so they'll need to keep it down.

Why it earns its number

In the Cuckold and Taboo sets, the ranch is the trump card: wide open on the outside, a barn full of corners on the inside. The boyfriend's horse obsession turns him into a comic obstacle instead of a villain, which keeps the mood light.

Who should collect it: For collectors who like a country reunion where the real horseplay happens behind the barn.
