My Stepdaughter’s Boyfriend

The setup

Ethan's girlfriend brings him to her father's house for a week with the family, and the first person he really notices is Holly, her dad's partner. Richard, the host, announces that everyone should unwind and enjoy themselves. Episode 1 is the introductions, the lounging and the moment Ethan gets caught looking, which Richard takes surprisingly well before following up with a question no host should ask. Episode 2 turns it into a game with ground rules, chief among them keeping his daughter in the dark, while Holly asks for something to drink and a spill forces a change of clothes. Holly is a recurring Candy character, and you'll cross paths with her again elsewhere on the shelf.

Why it earns its number

Here the host himself dares his daughter's boyfriend to admit what he's thinking. That permission hanging over every glance is what separates this from the usual caught-in-the-act story, and it earns a place on three shelves at once: MILF, Cheating wives and Cuckold.

Who should collect it: For viewers who like a power-play dynamic where the host sets the rules and the guest can't quite believe his luck.
