Kitty Kittara

The setup

Kittara is an all-in catgirl with one fixed point in her day, the man she lives for. Episode 1 is a lazy morning of purring, pouting and a breakfast made with love, until a suspicious text sets off her jealousy. Then he drops the news: a scholarship is pulling him away, and she does not take it quietly. Doors get shut and pleas get made through them. Episode 2 turns tender and a bit raw. He tells her she can drop the cat routine, she admits she plays it because he likes it, and she begs to keep an item of his that still carries his scent. Distance is the villain, and she has no plan for it.

Why it earns its number

In a set known for appetite, this one leads with devotion and plays it for laughs and ache. The cat costume is the act, the clinginess is the character, and the long-distance clock hanging over episode 1 gives it a heart that many five-episode runs skip.

Who should collect it: For anyone who wants sweet before heat: a cozy, funny, slightly heartbreaking evening with a catgirl who loves too hard.
