The setup
Mona has a spare room, and the guy who answers the call lands in the middle of a competition. She introduces him to DarkAngel, another new roommate, who has just been thrown out of her mother's house. Both women arrive with a family scandal involving a stepbrother and a very relaxed attitude toward it. Neither will share. Episode 1 ends with him being asked to choose a room, and a roommate. Episode 2 is the full campaign: car-wash charm, outfit consultations, a drink spilled on a shirt and a dinner invitation with a dessert-first twist. Mona and DarkAngel agree on only one thing, which is speed.
Why it earns its number
Two rivals, one target and zero shame. Mona is no stranger to the collection and appears in other series, and here she gets a partner in crime who matches her energy. The humor is the best part: the two keep sabotaging each other's moves, and the new guy is just trying to keep up.
Who should collect it: For anyone who wants a loud, funny and unapologetically flirty roommate comedy with two leads who refuse to share.
