Dragon Queen's Dark Desire

The setup

In a kingdom of dragons, Colette is the heir who cannot change shape, and without the transformation she will never be queen. Her mother has a plan: bring in a warlock healer. Episode 1 opens mid-temptation, with a fiancé waiting at home and a line already crossed. Then the warlock arrives for the examination and explains that the spell is easier to read on bare skin, and she invites him to keep watching. Episode 2 admits the cure is bigger than one man: Colette is taken to Agatha, a grower of the single ingredient that can break the curse. Agatha is flirty, Colette is flustered, and the fiancé looms over her conscience.

Why it earns its number

The fantasy shelf's most self-contained tale: a quest for a cure that is also an excuse for one temptation after another. Dragons, warlocks and a queen-in-waiting set a different register from stepfamily drama, and the plot behaves like a puzzle with ingredients rather than a family secret.

Who should collect it: For fans of fantasy courts, magical cures and a heroine whose loyalty gets harder to defend every episode.
