TRAINER HARLOW: PRIVATE HOUR

The setup

Trainer Harlow takes charge of the yard on day five of boot camp and lays down her standards: eyes on her whenever she talks, and a reply whenever she asks. The recruit at the center of this story is already rattled, and he comes apart over a set of push-ups while she calls him pathetic and tells someone else not to help. Then she orders him to the training grounds that evening for a private session. Episode 2 begins with strict eyes-front discipline and moves to a test of whether he can follow instructions at all. Someone else is watching, and the changing rooms soon become the next classroom, with stamina as the lesson.

Why it earns its number

Dominance with a uniform: Harlow runs her yard like a stage and her recruit has no script. Five episodes in the Nympho set, but the military-training tone is what sets it apart from every other apartment or office story on the shelf.

Who should collect it: For viewers who like a commanding woman, a flustered recruit and a good deal of barked orders delivered with a straight face.
