Halloween with My Stepsister

The setup

It's Halloween night, he's on dorm duty, and his stepsister Haley pops out of the dark with a loud Boo. The parents have left him in charge, and Haley teases him about the three years he spent looking everywhere but at her. He fumbles an answer: she's his stepsister, remember. Then the parents phone to say they'll be back by midnight, and Haley, in her devil costume, announces a new game. Each knock at the door forces a choice, trick or treat, and whatever he picks is what he gets. That leaves five hours, one room and no way to run this time, while the knocking keeps going.

Why it earns its number

A costume party for two, with exactly one rule: whatever he chooses, he gets. The knocks give every scene its rhythm, the parents' midnight arrival is the deadline, and the whole run can be finished in a single evening.

Who should collect it: For anyone who wants a Halloween evening with a devil, a dare at every knock and a clock that won't slow down.
