Pleasure Island

The setup

Evangelina is spending a sunny week at a villa, her mother's new husband close by, and she is not shy about teasing him. Episode 1 is a lazy afternoon of banter, a joke about target practice and then an introduction: the stepdad's brother Chad, who is every bit as good-looking as advertised and quick to invite her to a yacht party that night. In episode 2 they cool off in the water, and the flirting gets louder. It's only a casual bikini party, he promises. By the time they step on deck the dancing is loose, the guests are rowdy, and somebody proposes that everyone find a bedroom.

Why it earns its number

A postcard paradise with a taboo undercurrent: the family tie is one step removed, since Chad is her stepdad's brother, which keeps the mood playful rather than heavy. The setting does half the work, with a villa, a yacht and a guest list that gets bolder every hour. Easy to watch, hard to resist.

Who should collect it: For anyone who wants a sunburned holiday fantasy with a wink, a party boat and a dress code that dissolves.
