The setup
Wandering the forest during a storm, a traveler knocks on a chapel door and meets two nuns who have not had company in a long time. They take him in, find him dry clothes and set a place at the table, trading eager looks over his head. Lucia is the openly curious one, her sister is more careful, and neither is as shy as the habit suggests. Episode 1 ends with a prayer list that closes with an apology for tonight's plans. In episode 2 he asks what exactly they have in mind, hears 'nothing,' is invited to ring a bell whenever he wants something, and a late-night dash begins.
