Our Exchange Student

The setup

His girlfriend volunteers to take in an exchange student for the semester, and the guest who arrives is Mica Sarasola, shy on the surface and curious underneath. Episode 1 starts with a vocabulary question nobody expected: she wants the meaning of friends with benefits. His answer prompts her to confess that she prefers learning by demonstration. His girlfriend leaves him in charge of helping Mica settle in, which proves to be the worst idea of the semester. Episode 2 runs on the girlfriend's twelve-minute shower, a lesson about where the line is, and a few questions about crossing it.

Why it earns its number

The classroom framing is the charm: every flirtation is dressed up as a language lesson, and Mica's questions are pointed enough to keep the hero blushing. The bathroom timer adds a lovely ticking clock in the second episode. Light, playful and surprisingly well paced.

Who should collect it: For collectors who like a curious guest, a shy smile that isn't shy at all and a hero watching the clock.
