The setup
Margot is marrying his father on Saturday, and Dad makes his son best man and orders him to give Margot whatever she needs this week. The son is twenty-six, Margot is thirty-four, and she says Mom is an acceptable name for her, if he wants it, though her tone makes it clear she hopes he will not. Episode 1 begins with a wedding-dress emergency: she needs the zipper done where the groom cannot see, and the role of best man gets creative. Episode 2 brings in her stepsister Dahlia, the maid of honor, who announces a tradition: the maid of honor takes the best man. Garter in hand, Margot has a present for him too. Dad is one room away.
Why it earns its number
A wedding-week farce stacked with rivalry: bride versus maid of honor, with the best man as the prize and Dad as the obstacle in the next room. It combines the Stepmom, MILF, Cheating wives and Taboo shelves in one setup and plays all of it as a countdown to Saturday.
Who should collect it: For anyone who loves a wedding-week pileup: two confident women, a nervous best man and a ceremony that may not survive.
