My Best Friend's Mom Has One Rule

The setup

Jake agreed to look in on Tyler's house while Tyler is away, and he expected it to be empty. Episode 1 introduces Tyler's mother, Mrs. Massie, who never got the memo about a visitor and greets him in a towel with questions he can't answer. She lays down one rule: her bedroom is off limits. Jake nods like a model guest and then thinks about nothing else. Episode 2 is where the rule gets tested, and where she points out that her rule had nothing to say about her visiting his, so the loophole runs in her favor. Everyone calls her Margot by then, and she's amused.

Why it earns its number

The rule is the hook, and the story honors it: a single line, a closed door and a loophole that arrives as soon as the guest gets comfortable. The humor is dry, Margot is more amused than predatory, and the whole thing moves fast, which suits a short run.

Who should collect it: For a quick forbidden-fruit story where a polite hero follows the rules right up until someone changes them.
